Ahmet Şık

Ahmet Şık is a Turkish investigative journalist, author, and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career as a journalist for major newspapers such as Cumhuriyet and Radikal, where he focused on human rights and professional ethics. His investigative work, particularly regarding the Gülen movement and the Turkish deep state, led to multiple legal challenges and periods of imprisonment. Elected to parliament in 2018, he continues to advocate for transparency and democratic reform.
