Ahmet Önal is a Turkish politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Kırıkkale. He graduated from Kırıkkale University Faculty of Law in 2005 and practiced as a freelance attorney, while also serving on various commissions for the Kırıkkale Bar Association. Önal previously held the position of CHP Kırıkkale Provincial Chairman from 2015 to 2018 and served as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the 27th and 28th terms. He assumed his current office as Mayor in April 2024.
