Aida Touma-Suleiman

Aida Touma-Suleiman is an Israeli politician and journalist who has served as a member of the Knesset since 2015. Born in Nazareth, she is a prominent feminist activist and the founder of the organization Women Against Violence. Throughout her career, she has focused on gender equality, Arab-Israeli rights, and social justice, notably serving as the chair of the Knesset's Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality. She is a member of the Hadash party and has been a vocal advocate for Palestinian rights and secular political causes.
