Капбарова, Айгуль Жарылкасыновна

Aigul Kapbarova is a Kazakhstani journalist and former politician who served as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan representing the city of Shymkent from 2019 to 2026. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked extensively in media and journalism, including serving as a journalist-editor, head of the politics department for the newspaper 'Ongtustik Kazakstan', and director of 'Shymkent Media' and the 'Shymkent Information Center'. During her tenure in the Senate, she was a member of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science and received multiple state awards and medals for her contributions to journalism and public service.
