Akanvariva Lydia Lamisi

Akanvariva Lydia Lamisi is a Ghanaian politician and nurse who serves as the Member of Parliament for the Tempane Constituency. A member of the National Democratic Congress, she entered politics following the death of her husband, David Adakudugu, who previously held the same parliamentary seat. In the 2020 Ghanaian General Election, she secured victory by defeating the incumbent candidate. Beyond her legislative duties, she has a background in nursing and holds a law degree, having previously served as a Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms.
