A member of the New Patriotic Party, he was elected to parliament in the 2020 general elections after previously serving as an operations manager and auditor. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as a director at the Ghana Water Company Limited and is a member of the Poverty Reduction Strategy and Health committees in Parliament.
