Al Williams is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 168th District, a position he has held since 2002. Born and raised in Liberty County, Georgia, Williams has a long history of activism, having participated in the 1963 March on Washington and the 1968 Selma to Montgomery marches during the Civil Rights Movement. He also served in the Vietnam War. Throughout his career, he has balanced his legislative duties with his role as a deacon at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill.
