Alan Gemmell

Alan Gemmell is a British politician and diplomat serving as the Member of Parliament for Central Ayrshire since 2024. Before entering politics, he held significant roles in the British civil service and the British Council, including serving as the British Trade Commissioner and Deputy High Commissioner for South Asia. He is recognized for his work in international cultural exchange and trade, notably leading the UK-India Year of Culture.
