Alan Mak

Alan Mak is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Havant since 2015. He is the first person of East Asian descent to be elected to the House of Commons. Throughout his parliamentary career, Mak has held several government roles, including Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Industry and Economic Security. He has also served on the shadow frontbench, focusing on science, innovation, and technology. Beyond his legislative duties, Mak is known for his work on constituency-based community initiatives and his interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
