James Cartlidge is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for South Suffolk since 2015. Before entering Parliament, he founded the property portal Share to Buy Ltd. Throughout his political career, he has held several government positions, including Minister of State for Defence Procurement and Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury. Following the 2024 general election, he was appointed Shadow Defence Secretary.
