Alan S. Armstrong is an American businessman and politician serving as a United States Senator from Oklahoma since March 2026. Appointed by Governor Kevin Stitt to fill the vacancy left by Markwayne Mullin, Armstrong previously spent over three decades at the Williams Companies, where he served as CEO and executive board chairman from 2011 to 2025. Before entering the Senate, he was appointed by President Joe Biden to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council in 2022. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma and resides in Tulsa.
