Marcus Richmond

Marcus Richmond is an American politician serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives for the 21st district. Born in Mena, Arkansas, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Arkansas Tech University. Before entering politics, Richmond served in the United States Marine Corps for twenty years, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and later worked as a football coach and business executive. He was first elected to the state legislature in 2014 and assumed office in January 2015, where he has focused on public transportation and state legislative affairs.
