Bjorn Olson

Bjorn Olson is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2021, representing District 22A. In 2025, he assumed the role of speaker pro tempore. A member of the Republican Party, Olson previously served two terms as the mayor of Elmore, Minnesota. He is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve and works as a history teacher and farmer. Throughout his legislative career, Olson has focused on rural issues, including opposition to certain school bike safety programs and commuter rail projects, advocating for fiscal responsibility in state spending.
