Alberto Bagnai is an Italian economist and politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. An associate professor of economic policy, he is widely recognized for his Eurosceptic and post-Keynesian views, having authored influential works such as 'Il tramonto dell'euro'. Before his election to the Senate in 2018 and subsequently the Chamber of Deputies in 2022, he established the Italian Association for the Study of Economic Asymmetries.
