Giusy Versace

Giusy Versace is an Italian politician, television presenter, and former Paralympic athlete. After a 2005 car accident resulted in the amputation of both her legs, she became a prominent advocate for disability rights and sports inclusion, founding the Disabili No Limits Onlus association. She served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2018 to 2022 before being elected to the Senate of the Republic. Throughout her political career, she has focused on social affairs, disability rights, and sports reform, currently serving as a member of the Senate representing the moderate and reformist political area.
