Alberto Gusmeroli

Alberto Luigi Gusmeroli is an Italian politician and economist currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, where he chairs the Productive Activities, Commerce, and Tourism Commission. A member of the Lega party, he previously served as the mayor of Arona from 2010 to 2020 and returned to the position in 2024. Before his full-time political career, he worked as a professional accountant and auditor for various public and private entities. He is known for his focus on fiscal policy, having authored works on tax reform and the flat tax system.
