Alessandro Barattoni

Alessandro Barattoni is an Italian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ravenna, having assumed office on May 31, 2025. Born in Faenza in 1982, he holds a degree in political science from the University of Bologna. Before his election as mayor, he worked for Federcoop Romagna, focusing on logistics and real estate management. Barattoni has been a long-time member of the Democratic Party, serving as a municipal councilor in Ravenna starting in 2011 and later as the party's provincial secretary in 2017. He was elected mayor in 2025 as the candidate for a center-left coalition, securing a victory in the first round of voting.
