Alexander Ackerl

Alexander Ackerl is an Austrian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Born in Linz in 1991, he studied law and political science at the University of Vienna. Ackerl has been active in the SPÖ since 2009, holding various roles within the Young Generation (JG) organization, including serving as its chair for Vienna starting in 2022. Professionally, he worked as a legal expert for the SPÖ Vienna parliamentary club. In 2025, he assumed office as a member of the Vienna Landtag and Municipal Council, where he continues his political career with a focus on European policy and social democratic education.
