Alexander Hofmann

Alexander Hofmann is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Wiesbaden in 1992, he holds a Master of Arts in history. Before his election to the state parliament in 2024, he worked as a scientific advisor for the SPD city council faction in Wiesbaden and as a public relations and policy officer for the German Sawmill and Timber Industry Association. Hofmann has been active in local politics since 2013, serving in various roles including deputy chairman of the SPD Wiesbaden and as a member of the local advisory board. In the Landtag, he focuses on budget, agriculture, and environmental policy.
