Carmen Wegge

Carmen Wegge is a German politician serving as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Starnberg – Landsberg am Lech district. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Parliamentary Left movement, she serves on the Committee on Internal Affairs and the Committee on Legal Affairs. Since 2025, she has acted as her parliamentary group's spokesperson on legal affairs and consumer protection. Her legislative focus includes cannabis legalization, data protection, gender equality, and gun control, and she was a key initiator of a cross-party effort to seek a ban on the far-right Alternative for Germany party.
