Alexei Buzu

Alexei Buzu is a Moldovan economist and public policy expert currently serving as the Secretary General of the Moldovan Government in the Munteanu Cabinet. Prior to his current role, he served as the Minister of Labour and Social Protection starting in 2023. Buzu has extensive experience in social protection, gender equality, and international development, having previously led the Development Partnership Center and worked as a consultant for organizations including the World Bank, the United Nations, and the European Union. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in economics and finance from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
