Alfredo Alves Cavalcante, better known as Alfredinho, is a Brazilian politician and former trade unionist currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies for the state of São Paulo. Born in Oeiras, Piauí, he migrated to São Paulo, where he became a founding member of the Workers' Party (PT) and the Central Única dos Trabalhadores (CUT). Before his federal mandate, he served multiple terms as a city councilor in São Paulo, focusing on the southern zone of the city. He assumed his seat in the Chamber of Deputies in 2023 as a substitute and has since been active in committees concerning labor, culture, and indigenous rights.
