Bohn Gass

Elvino José Bohn Gass is a Brazilian politician, historian, and family farmer currently serving his fourth term as a federal deputy for the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A member of the Workers' Party (PT), he began his political career in the student movement and the Pastoral da Juventude before serving as a councilor in Santo Cristo and a state deputy. Throughout his tenure in the Chamber of Deputies, Bohn Gass has focused on agricultural issues, social management, and labor rights, frequently advocating for policies that support family farming and social welfare programs. He has also served as the leader of the Workers' Party in the Chamber, where he notably spearheaded efforts to unify impeachment petitions against the Bolsonaro administration.
