Alfredo Cornejo

Alfredo Cornejo is an Argentine politician currently serving as the Governor of Mendoza Province, a position he assumed in 2023 after previously holding the office from 2015 to 2019. A member of the Radical Civic Union, he has held various high-level roles, including National Deputy and National Senator. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions to public administration and international cooperation, receiving honors such as the Order of Rio Branco and the Order of Bernardo O'Higgins. Before his tenure as governor, he served as the mayor of Godoy Cruz for two terms and was a prominent student leader at the National University of Cuyo, where he studied political science.
