Alfredo Marañon III is a Filipino politician serving as the representative for the 2nd congressional district of Negros Occidental. First elected to Congress in 2004, he later served three terms as the Mayor of Sagay before returning to the House of Representatives in 2022. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on health and social security measures and has been a vocal advocate for the creation of the Negros Island Region. In the 20th Congress, he was appointed as the chairperson of the Philippine House Committee on Natural Resources.
