Henry Oaminal

Henry Oaminal is a Filipino politician, lawyer, and businessman currently serving as the Governor of Misamis Occidental, a position he has held since 2022. Prior to his governorship, he served as the Representative for the 2nd district of Misamis Occidental from 2013 to 2022 and held the role of House Deputy Speaker from 2019 to 2022. Throughout his career, he has faced various controversies, including allegations regarding infrastructure projects and housing developments, as well as legal challenges related to financial matters. In 2023, he survived an assassination attempt involving an IED attack on his convoy.
