Caroline Tanchay

Caroline Tanchay is a Filipino businesswoman and politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines. She is the president and CEO of the nickel mining firm Oriental Peninsula Resources and has also introduced the American grocery chain Dean & DeLuca to the Philippine market. In her political career, she has focused on energy policy, specifically advocating for the mitigation of power consumption expenses and the implementation of stricter regulations to combat conflicts of interest within the power industry. She was elected as a representative for the SAGIP Partylist in 2022 and has been involved in high-profile legislative actions, including signing an impeachment complaint against the Vice President.
