Johnny Pimentel

Johnny Pimentel is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of Surigao del Sur, an office he assumed in 2025. Previously, he served as a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines representing the 2nd district of Surigao del Sur from 2016 to 2025, during which time he held the position of Deputy House Speaker. His extensive political career includes serving as the provincial administrator of Surigao del Sur and as the province's governor from 2010 to 2016. A graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, Pimentel has also been active in civic leadership, notably serving as the Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines from 2022 to 2023.
