He was elected to represent the NA-191 Jacobabad-cum-Kashmore constituency during the 2024 Pakistani general election. As a candidate for the Pakistan People’s Party, he secured his seat by defeating his opponent from the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) with 103,962 votes.
