Alison Comyn is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and former journalist who has served as a senator in Seanad Éireann since February 2025, after being nominated by the Taoiseach. Prior to her political career, she established a prominent career in broadcasting and journalism, working with organizations such as Sky News, BBC, RTÉ, and UTV Ireland, where she anchored news programmes including Ireland Live. She also ran as a Fianna Fáil candidate for Louth at the 2024 general election before being appointed to the Seanad.
