Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas

Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas is a Mexican politician and lawyer currently serving as a Senator of the Republic. A long-time member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), he previously served as the Governor of Campeche from 2015 to 2019 and held various legislative roles, including terms as a federal deputy and senator. Known popularly as 'Alito,' he has also served as the national president of the PRI and as the president of the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL). His career has been marked by significant political influence within his party, as well as various controversies regarding his administration and personal assets.
