Allison Russo

Allison Russo is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 7th district. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as the Ohio House Minority Leader from 2022 to 2025. Russo holds a bachelor's degree from the Mississippi University for Women, a master's degree in public health epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a doctorate in health policy from George Washington University. Outside of her legislative career, she has worked as a health policy consultant, including serving as a research director at Kennell and Associates, Inc. In 2025, she announced her candidacy for Ohio Secretary of State in the 2026 election cycle.
