Amanda Martin is a British Labour Party politician and trade unionist who has served as the Member of Parliament for Portsmouth North since 2024, having unseated Conservative cabinet minister Penny Mordaunt. A native of Portsmouth, she previously worked as a teacher and served as president of the National Education Union. In addition to her parliamentary duties, she was elected chair of the All-party parliamentary group on Gibraltar in 2024 and was appointed as a parliamentary private secretary to the Secretary of State for Education in 2025.
