Amjad Hussain Azar is a Pakistani politician serving as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan since July 2026. A member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, he previously served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly from November 2020 to July 2023 and as a member of the first Gilgit-Baltistan Council from 2010 to 2015. He has represented GBA-1 Gilgit-I in the assembly across multiple terms.
