Amy Perruso is an American politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives for the 46th district. A former social studies teacher at Mililani High School and secretary-treasurer of the Hawaii State Teachers Association, she entered politics following the education workers' strike. Perruso is a member of the Progressive Legislative Caucus and has been endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America. She holds a PhD in political science from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
