Ana Zegarra

Ana Zegarra is a Peruvian administrator and politician serving as a Member of the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the Loreto constituency, having taken office in October 2024 to complete the 2021–2026 parliamentary term following the passing of Congressman Hitler Saavedra. A member of the Somos Perú party, she has held leadership roles within the legislature including spokesperson for her parliamentary group and head of the Decentralization Committee. Her tenure has been marked by legal controversies, including past convictions for document falsification and administrative false declaration, as well as investigations regarding campaign financing allegations.
