Anders Adlercreutz

Anders Adlercreutz is a Finnish politician and architect who has served as the Minister of Education since July 2024. A member of the Swedish People's Party of Finland, he has represented the Uusimaa constituency in the Parliament of Finland since 2015 and assumed the role of party chair in 2024. Previously, he served as the Minister of European Affairs and Ownership Steering. Before his political career, Adlercreutz worked as an architect and was a partner at an architecture firm in Helsinki for over two decades. He is known for his advocacy of international student exchange programs and has proposed policies such as banning smartphones in Finnish schools.
