André Fufuca

André Fufuca is a Brazilian physician and politician currently serving as the Minister of Sport, a position he has held since September 2023. He previously served as a federal deputy for the state of Maranhão starting in 2015 and was the youngest state representative in Brazil when first elected in 2010. Throughout his legislative career, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the Second Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies and acting as the Chamber's president on an interim basis in 2017. Known for his pragmatic political alliances, he has supported significant economic reforms and served as a key figure in parliamentary caucuses.
