André Guiol

André Guiol is a French politician currently serving as a member of the French Senate representing the Var department. Elected in September 2020, he is affiliated with the European Democratic and Social Rally (RDSE) group. Throughout his career, he served as the mayor of Néoules from 1995 to 2020 and as a vice-president of the Provence Verte agglomeration community. Politically, he has been associated with various movements, including La République en marche and Territoires de progrès, and later joined Bernard Cazeneuve's La Convention movement after expressing opposition to the government's pension reform.
