Before entering politics, she had a successful career in broadcasting, serving as a moderator, editor, and program director at Radio Bamberg, and later as the editor-in-chief of Radio RST. In addition to her legislative duties, she is involved in the Women's Union of the CDU and the media commission of the state media authority of North Rhine-Westphalia.
