Andreas Bleck is a German politician serving as a member of the Bundestag since 2017. Born in 1988 in Neuwied, he studied at the University of Koblenz and Landau with the goal of becoming a teacher. Before joining the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2013, he was a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 2010 to 2013. Within the AfD, he served on the advisory council of the party's youth organization, the Young Alternative for Germany. Bleck is known for his vocal opposition to man-made climate change theories and his critical stance on immigration policies. He successfully retained his parliamentary seat in the 2021 federal election and continues to serve in the 20th Bundestag.
