Andreas Gerold is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Saxony, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in 1963 in Meerane, he worked as a metal construction master and later as an insurance broker before entering politics. Since 2019, he has served as the parliamentary group leader for the AfD in the Meerane city council and the Zwickau district council. He was elected to the state parliament in 2024 and has been a member of the AfD Saxony state executive board since 2022.
