Andreas Meier is a Swiss politician, businessman, agricultural engineer, and oenologist who has served as a member of the National Council of Switzerland since 2023. Prior to his election to the federal parliament, he served as a member of the Grand Council of Aargau from 2017 to 2022. Born in Leuggern in 1962, Meier comes from a long-standing family of winemakers and continues to manage the family's historic vineyard, Weingut zum Sternen, in Würenlingen. He is a non-commissioned officer in the Swiss Armed Forces and currently resides in Klingnau, where he is active in local and regional affairs.
