Andrew Cary Powell is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly for the seat of Glass House since 2009. A member of the Liberal National Party, he previously served as the Minister for the Environment and Heritage Protection in the Newman ministry from 2012 to 2015. Before entering politics, Powell worked as a public servant for the Commonwealth Department of Defence and the Queensland government, and spent time as a missionary in Fiji and New Zealand.
