Mark Buttigieg is an Australian politician and trade unionist who has served as a Member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 2019. Born in Sydney to Maltese immigrant parents, he began his career as an electrical apprentice and later worked as an electrical systems operator and training manager for Energy Australia. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a councillor on the Sutherland Shire Council and worked as an organiser for the Electrical Trades Union of Australia. Currently, he holds the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Industrial Relations, Work Health and Safety, and Multiculturalism within the Minns Labor Government.
