Steven Marshall is an Australian politician who served as the 46th Premier of South Australia from 2018 to 2022. A member of the Liberal Party, he represented the electorate of Dunstan in the South Australian House of Assembly from 2010 until his resignation in 2024. Before entering politics, Marshall had a successful career in the business sector, including managing his family's furniture company and serving on various industry boards. As Premier, he led the state through the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2019–20 bushfire crisis. Following his departure from parliament, he has held leadership roles in international non-profit organizations, including the American Australian Association.
