Vickie Chapman is an Australian politician who served as a member of the South Australian House of Assembly for the seat of Bragg from 2002 to 2022. A member of the Liberal Party, she made history as the first woman to serve as Deputy Premier of South Australia and Attorney-General, holding these roles from 2018 to 2021. Throughout her career, she held various shadow portfolios and served as Deputy Leader of the Opposition on two separate occasions. Chapman, who is a qualified barrister, resigned from parliament in May 2022 following a long career in state politics.
