Terry Stephens

Terry Stephens is an Australian politician who served as a member of the South Australian Legislative Council from 2002 to 2026. A member of the Liberal Party, he held various shadow ministerial portfolios throughout his career, including sport, recreation, racing, and tourism. He served as the Government Whip in the Legislative Council following the 2018 state election and was twice elected as the President of the South Australian Legislative Council, a position he held until his retirement from parliament in March 2026. Prior to his political career, he worked as a company director and was active in community organizations in Whyalla.
