Marty Hunt

Marty Hunt is an Australian politician who currently serves as the Liberal National Party member for Nicklin in the Queensland Legislative Assembly. First elected in 2017, he served until 2020 and was re-elected to the seat in the 2024 state election. Prior to his political career, Hunt spent 30 years as a dedicated officer in the Queensland Police Service, where he held various roles including serving in the Child Abuse Unit and as the officer in charge of the Sunshine Coast Police-Citizens Youth Club. His political focus includes advocacy for police mental health and improvements to the justice system.
