Andy Slaughter is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Hammersmith and Chiswick since 2024, having previously represented Hammersmith and the Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush constituencies since 2005. A qualified barrister, he served as the Leader of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council before entering national politics. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held various frontbench roles, including Shadow Justice Minister and Shadow Solicitor General, and was elected Chair of the Justice Committee in 2024.
